강지은
KANG JI-EUN
해금 연주자 강지은은 국립국악중·고등학교, 서울대학교 음악대학 국악과 및 동 대학원에서 해금으로 졸업하였다.
이후 한국음악 프로젝트 그룹 비빙 멤버, 국립부산국악원 정단원을 거쳐 현재 국가무형문화재 제1호
종묘제례악 이수자, 독일 베를린의 Ensemble Extrakte 멤버 그리고 해금 솔리스트로 국내·외에서 활발하게 활동하며 전통 궁중음악, 민속음악, 현대음악, 즉흥음악을 심도 있게 다루는 독특하고 폭넓은 음악 행보를 걷고 있다.
다양한 음악적 경험을 통한 통합적 접근으로 현시대의 한국음악과 악기를 위해 작업 중인 강지은은
2011-12년 한국문화예술위원회의 차세대 예술인으로 선정되었으며 개인 음반인 <해금 소곡집>(2013), <바람은 고개를 넘고-영남소리기행>(2015)를 발매하여 한국음악에 대한 새로운 관점 제시와 탁월한 해석력으로 호평을 받았다.
또한, 수차례의 독주회를 비롯하여 KBS 교향악단, 국립부산국악원, 앙상블 TIMF, AsianArt Ensemble 등 여러 단체와 협연하였고 피나바우쉬 페스티발, 콜카타국제음악제, 통영국제음악제, 부산마루국제음악제 등 국내·외 유수의 페스티발에서 연주하였다.
Haegeum(Korean bowed string instrument) player, KANG Ji-eun, studied at the National Gugak Middle school and High school and graduated from Seoul National University'sSchool of Korean Music and Graduate School of the same university.
KANG Ji-eun was a member of the Be-being and a standing member of the Busan National Gugak Center to hone her musical and artistic competence.
She is active as a master of National Intangible Cultural Heritage 1st, Jongmyo Jeryeak(Royal ancestral ritual music), a member of Ensemble Extrakte (Berlin) and also Haegeum solist.
In 2011-2012, she was appointed as a Young Art Frontier by the Arts Council Korea and released her albums <HEAGEUM PIECES>(2013) and <THE WIND CROSSING A PASS-a travel for the music in youngnam province>(2015).
KANG Ji-eun has played Heageum concertos with KBS Symphony orchestra, Busan National Gugak Center, Ensemble TIMF, Seoul Central Symphony Orchestra and so on. She has performed numerous festivals such as the Pina Baush Festival, Kolkata Internationl Music Festival, Busan Maru Internationl Music Festival and Tongyeong International Music Festival.
She is an active Haegeum performer who continues to broaden her musical capacity while striving to stay true to traditions while stimulating creativity at the same time.
